edit: well, I *thought* I did well, considering the time, thought and fun I had with it, but apparently not. oh well life goes on right? just one project out of many in the future, can't win'em all. :) no more class for this semester !! The updates might be slow... or maybe I can catch up on some coffee shop drawings over the holidays. cheers ~

The backgrounds add a lot. The complementary colors really help the figures pop out.
I think the bottom one is my favorite design, and the most successful image.
The engineer is a good design, but I think the rendering betrays his form, making him look a little flat.
But really, great job all around.
Really cool color,it looks great,
Are you work on Graphic Novels ??
i have nothing much to say..
marvelous..the used of colour is brilliant...a professional standard...
my request...could you show me...
step by step of your painting technique?
Richmond sure makes coffee-shop drawing a pleasure, considering the diverse amount of freakish people we have to offer...
Hehe, that said, besides some anatomy things (like I should talk), the only one that I think looks maybe a little too updated for the theme is the dude with the green and yellow suit. But then again, maybe you weren't going for a direct recreation of the era but instead merely an influence?
Ugh, I need to learn how to use color like you do!
Hi , great pieces :) Keep posting !Cheers :)

Wow! Great blog, great work, beautiful imagination!
hello. beautiful work. yeah, can't please everyone 'cept your yourself first. i think your cafe sketches are overdue!
You should be super proud :)
These are great, but you've heard my critique already ;-)
In terms of the comic, it's on a backburner now. I have been getting slammed with editorial stuff and need to take care of that priority first before moving on to anything else. Comics are nice and all, but editoral work is where it's at for me , you know.
Hope u have blessed holidays!

I'm really digging these pieces! Great job!
I think the men's hips are typically too wide -- they have this tendency to look like girl legs.
